  • The Board acknowledged Frankton Elementary School which provided the information on the bulletin board for May.
  • Frankton Elementary School Principal Ronda Podzielinski, Director of Reading Genny Zetterberg, and teachers Jenna Betz and Debbie Downey reported on Frankton Elementary School’s improvement process and improvement plan.
  • Superintendent Ned Speicher updated the Board on the construction projects.
  • The Board approved the final construction schedule for the new Lapel High School.
  • The Board approved the construction invoices for May.
  • Mr. Speicher reported on the kindergarten round-up totals.
  • Mr. Speicher reported on the summer school programs for 2007. The Board approved the summer school programs.
  • Mr. Speicher reported on the 2007-08 Title I grant.
  • Mr. Speicher reported on the school corporation budget for the first quarter of 2007.

        • Ida Combs – Grade 1 teacher, at the end of the 2006-07 school year, 43 years of service to FLCS
  • The Board approved the monthly claim documents as submitted.
