The Board approved the minutes from the May 8, 2014 school board meeting as presented.
The Board held a lottery for transfer students without legal settlement to determine which students would be admitted for the 2014-15 school year.
Lapel High School varsity football coach Tim Miller presented to the Board a proposal to build a locker room at Lapel High School to be funded by the Lapel Optimist Quarterback Club.
Superintendent Bobby Fields reported on the waiver from the State for the lost instructional days due to weather in January 2014.
Mr. Fields gave a report reviewing the school corporation goals for 2013-14 and how the corporation fared in accomplishing the goals.
Mr. Fields reported on the health insurance claims for May 2014.

Lapel High School band to New York City and Boston, Massachusetts to perform in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 12-16, 2015.
