EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

All middle school students are urged to participate in one or more extra-curricular activity.  Students are urged to commit themselves to the activities they join; not just for the benefit of the organization but for the students themselves.  Students are urged to plan their activity schedule carefully.  Obligations at home and in the community should be considered in arriving at a program that will be most suitable for the student.

BANDS

The middle school band is a very important curricular activity, which represents our school and community with the finest musical talent.  The band is open to all musically interested students.  The Middle School band is a class which meets daily and also performs outside of school time.  Any interested new student should contact the band director and the principal for admission arrangements.

SHOW CHOIR

The Show Choir is a select group of students chosen by audition each year.  The group often represents the school and community in a public relations capacity.  Show Choir members must participate in all stated activities. Show Choir practices weekly and occasionally performs outside of school time.

ROBOTICS CLUB

STUDENT GOVERNMENT

The one organization in the school, which represents everyone and speaks for everyone, is the Student Government.  It is an organization of students elected by their fellow classmates to serve as their official representatives in all matters of concern to the entire school.  Elected members will help plan and assist with dances, field day, school fundraisers, service projects, and many other activities as needed.
